About Us
GMTW Youth Club was formerly known as Get me to work, a recruitment company initially founded to help citizens in Croydon who had been unemployed for long periods of time,.gain long term employment. It was during this period that GMTW realised that a lot of young individuals could not gain employment because they had little education, no qualifications and no experience. A lot of the young individuals who visited us explained they had been involved in gangs, kicked out of school or trouble with the police. These Young people felt they didn’t have many options and didn’t know where to turn to get help. We decided a change in approach was needed and GMTW YOUTH CLUB was born.
Our Mission
Our mission is to tackle knife crime by getting the youth out of gangs and into work. We understand that each individual is different and needs their own person plan. We work with the youth to mentor them from the moment they walk though the door up until they are ready and settled in working life. We give the youth not only a place to gain education training and work but also a place to explore their creative abilities and socialise making the whole experience shape their future. We want to rebuild the community by helping one youth at a time
Our Work
